Jale
Certain parts of the above comic might not be literally true, but they’re all emotionally true. That’s the part that really counts.
Right now I’d like to draw your attention to another cool person from Nova Scotia, Kate Beaton. I first learned of her from Frank the science punk a while back, and have since discovered that there’s a whole parallel universe of great comics happening at LiveJournal.
So what’s the name of Ms.Beaton’s comic? That’s apparently an exercise left to the reader. What’s it about? All kinds of things. Common subjects include history, literature, and the artist’s younger self. The comic is very well written and, despite the often esoteric subject matter, is never boring. It’s also very well drawn, though a bit unpolished, and there are a number of butt-ugly MS Paint strips scattered throughout.
I particularly like her strips about the Maritimes. Also, the one about Saint Francis of Assisi. Go check them out.

If Jale were still together, the common cold would be cured by now.

That does seem to be the only logical possibility, yes.

I’m very much in love with your new site header, by the way.

Ha! I remember that band. “Unseen Friend” was their best song by a pretty wide margin, at least on that record (I don’t remember the other two). Be nice if I could dig it up again…
