It Never Rains
I’m pushing now to get The Vole That Dare Not Speak Its Name finished by the end of the week. I’ve put all of my other projects on hold until it’s done- GearHead, the Transplant mini, communicating with my family… Mom, if you’re reading this, I’m alive and in good health.
For me this is a binge, but for other webcomickers constant obsessive working is a way of life. Take Klio of SPQR Blues, for instance. Not only does she maintain a nearly daily schedule (most times), she also has to do a lot of research to keep her comic historically accurate. SPQR Blues has been described as a sword and sandals soap opera. It’s a drama comic taking place in the Roman Empire. It’s also highly addictive. Go check it out, and then read this interview with her at ComixTalk. Or do it the other way around. It doesn’t make any difference to me.
