How To Get Ahead
Recently I’ve started watching Gundam from the beginning. This is a shocking confession for me to make as a lifelong mechahead- I’ve never actually seen much of the TV show. I mean, I’ve seen some episodes. I’ve watched the compilation movies, played the video games, read the technical manuals… but this is my first time witnessing the original source.
In certain ways it’s a very dated show- take, for instance, Amuro’s magnificent disco hair. In many other ways it holds up very well to the cartoons of today.
