Tit For Tat
I’ve just arrived in Ulsan and fed my son without killing either one of us. Victory! I feel like the first few months… maybe years… of parenthood will be filled with small victories like this.
I’m in the process of constructing a mobile for the boy. Young babies apparently see better in black and white, so we’re replacing the stuffed animals on his current mobile with patterned panels. In addition to some checkers and bubbles and wavy lines I’ve also snuck in a proof of the Pythagorean Theorem. Hey, it’s never too early to get them thinking about math.
