A Common Problem, Really
Really, who hasn’t crashed their yacht into a rival’s mecha meteor at least once or twice? It’s the type of thing that’s so common there really ought to be an express lane for it.
The asteroid colonies of the dusty ring are partially inspired by my home province of Newfoundland & Labroador- they’re rural, harsh, referred to as rocks, and the people who live there talk funny. Plus, you’ve got pirates and sailors spacers and sea space monsters.
