Meet The Family
Like most webmasters, I occasionally take a look at the search terms which have led visitors to my site. Most of them are pretty obvious- I get a lot of hits from the word “ataraxia”, and also the phrase “what is ataraxia”. To all the first year philosophy students reading this page, welcome! You’ll find the answer to your homework assignment over here.
The most popular non-Pyrrhonian search term for Ataraxia Theatre is, somewhat predictably, “hamster comics”. It’s not entirely fair, since there’s only one major hamster character in Voles of the Dusk, and she’s only half-hamster. Oddly enough, “vole” doesn’t show at all, though it is one of the common search terms over at the GearHead site. “Penguin comics” doesn’t show either, though “ninja comics” appears a bit further down the list.
The next search term is pretty surprising, considering that it’s only mentioned once on the site- Naked Elf (Wang Alert). I guess that elven nudity is so powerful that you only need to mention it to improve your page ranking. There are a few variants on the theme as well- “naked elves”, “elf nude or naked or porn”… do you think Google is trying to tell me something? Maybe I should put aside my prudish inclinations and get to work on the story I said I’d never draw, C.C.M.O.C. Adam knows what I’m talking about.
Some other common search terms include “joe hewitt korea”, “johnathan frakes”, “homeopath“, and “lemur drawing”. Make of this what you will.
