The Secret Origin of Super-Deformity
This is not the first time we’ve seen Seifuku Okonomiyaki. You know, the Japanese don’t have a monopoly on deformed character art. I’d say that the British do it rather well too.
Back in the 80s and 90s there was a satirical puppet show called Spitting Image. It used to come on late at night on CBC. Although most of the political references went over my head at the time, I still used to stay up and watch it as often as I could. The show would usually end with a musical number. Here are two of my favorite songs, plus a new one that I had never seen before but which I find strangely relevant.
