Martian Honeys (1 of 8)
This is about the half-way point through Mischa’s Story, so right now we’re going to have a brief intermission. I didn’t plan to run the intermission just yet, but Ben wasn’t quite able to finish the last strip in time, and who can blame him? The guy is very nearly the new Clay Aiken of webcomics so get over there and vote someone else off the ship.
Ahem. In lieu of the last strip of page 17, I present the following story: Martian Honeys. This is an eight hour comic which I did last week on a day when I had no classes. Before anyone asks, no, this is not set in the GearHead universe.
The artwork for Martian Honeys was drawn digitally at an extremely low resolution, vectorized, smoothed, exported as a high resolution bitmap and finally lettered. I was hoping to get some nice primitive curves, but like my time limit I’m only willing to call the experiment semi-victorious.
I hope you enjoy this interlude. Mischa’s Story will return in a couple of weeks. In the meantime, let’s rock out with some Korean music videos. Two of these are songs that I like, and the third I present as a clinical example of K-Pop overdrama.
