Martian Honeys (8 of 8)

Alas, like most time-constrained comics I went for the sudden deus ex machina ending. Still, it’s not entirely without its charm… a much larger concern is that Dana’s misconceptions about Mars had to be mostly cut. Actually, she was supposed to have some strong opinions about Martian men, but her bits got folded into Andy’s part.

In personal news, my head cold is really starting to piss me off. It’s been hanging on for weeks now. Last week I thought I was better, but then on Sunday it came back with a vengeance. The worst thing is that Sean caught it too.

The second worst thing, and the #1 most annoying thing, is the effect that my cold has on my mother and mother-in-law. Both of them apparently think that I’m ready to drop dead of pneumonia any day now. Admittedly, I don’t have the best respiratory system in the world; thanks to several bouts of childhood bronchitis an x-ray of my lungs comes out looking like Tommy Lee Jones’s face. However, that’s no reason to be paranoid over what is, in fact, just a cold.

Come back tomorrow for the continuation of Mischa’s Story.

Vindicated! I had a feeling she had a few of her own, just because I didn’t see you sticking this closely to formula. Now I know you used its familiar tropes due to, as you said, time constraints.
It was a very lovely comic either way, although it could have used a more clear disclaimer that these aren’t exactly college students from Wujung (that is, not from the GearHead setting.)
