Sean may not have been on this planet for long, but already he’s got definite tastes in music. He loves They Might Be Giants and The Flaming Lips. He dances to Big Audio Dynamite, but gets scared every time Mick Jones appears on the screen. For some reason he hates Gorillaz.

Sean has even managed to turn me onto some bands I had never heard of before, such as The Cockroaches.

Those of you with children of your own are probably asking, “Hey, didn’t I just see Anthony and Jeff?”. Those two members of the Cockroaches went on to find greater fame as members of The Wiggles. If you don’t know who The Wiggles are then you obviously don’t have children.

According to Anthony, the change from pub songs to children’s music wasn’t all that much of a stretch. “The Cockroaches sing about girls and love and stuff like that; The Wiggles sing about hot potatoes and cold spaghetti.”

I looked at Amazon to see if they had a copy of this CD, but no luck.
