It’s all fun and games until someone pulls a gun
The title for today’s strip was going to be “Costly Signaling”, but I thought that might be a bit obscure. Singlehandedly fight off three pirates? That’s pretty neat, I suppose. Fight them off without putting down your drink? That’s costly signaling and it applies equally to parots and action heroes.
Tomorrow is the last day of classes before summer vacation. Yay! This should give me a chance to catch up on all the things I’ve been putting off: a new release of GearHead, promoting the Voles book, correspondance (hi Mom!), sleeping… you know.
