Opening Speech
Sean really likes the Muppet DVDs. Not the shows on them, just the DVDs themselves. Also the DVD case.
I’ve realized now that, as a parent, most of my stories fall into a predictable pattern. “[Offspring] has just done [Action which every baby does eventually] for the first time! Isn’t it [Incredulous adjective]?”
The thing is, a few months ago Sean could have been mistaken for a decorative pillow. These days he’s puzzling out the workings of every button in the house. Tomorrow, who knows? It’s fascinating to watch him learn how to do all these things which us adults take for granted.
