Happy Pepero Day! Every year on November 11th, we celebrate chocolate-coated breadsticks by eating plenty of them. In Korean Pepero Day is spelled “빼빼로 데이”, which is another of those Google search results I really ought to capitalize on.

If you have any Korean friends in other countries, you could wish them a happy Pepero Day: “해피 빼빼로 데이”. Of course you’ll probably get a nasty look for your efforts, since AFAIK you can’t get pepero outside of Korea… If you are a Korean person living away from Korea yourself, I apologize for reminding you. Sorry Godwind_Dora.

    Pepero specifically might be limited to Korea, but there is something that seems quite similar, which is frequently available amongst imported Japanese snacks, in the US…
