Last Human Alive Page Two
Today, I can finally unveil the title of this particular story. I didn’t want to do it on Monday because that would give away today’s page.
This is the last week of my winter vacation. When I go back to work I’ll be able to get back into drawing on a regular basis. That may sound odd, but I really can’t do it at home. In order to draw I need some uninterrupted time to get into the right mental state. With an almost two year old baby in the house, uninterrupted time is a scarce commodity. Even when Sean is asleep there’s always the nagging suspicion that he might wake up soon.
During the school term I go to the office an hour or so earlier than I have to and do my drawing then. It’s a good system. I then work on GearHead when I have a break in the afternoon, and try to keep up with my email correspondence when I get back home (those of you waiting on emails from me know that I’ve been lax about this last one). This year I’m hoping to squeeze some extra time dedicated specifically to writing in there… it may come at the cost of the illustration, in which case I’ll be cutting back to two updates a week.
