We had some exciting weather today. I had no idea anything was going on until I opened the door and saw that everything was white outside. We must have had at least 15cm of snow, which for Daegu is a lot. For Daegu in the middle of March, it’s a whole freaking lot.
Traffic on the main road was going slower than cold molasses waiting in line at the DMV. My bus was thirty minutes late. The ride to work, which normally takes ten to fifteen minutes, took a half hour. Fortunately I had some good Canadian music loaded on my mp3 player. I’ve been feeling kind of homesick these days; walking through the slush with improper footwear while listening to songs about winter is a surprisingly effective cure for that.
By the time I came home this evening, the snow was mostly gone off the roads.
