Confrontation
Zombie Day at ScienceBlogs.com was a rousing success! The idea came from Dr. Scicurious and PalMD, who wanted to do something lighthearted and fun and thought that zombies would be just the ticket. I was asked to do the zombie portraits, which was that secret project I mentioned on Monday.
The whole shebang was a hoot and a half. There are articles about circadian rythms in zombies, preparing for the zombie apocalypse, developing a zombie vaccine, how Jenny McCarthy has contributed to the zombie problem… There’s lots of fun and (maybe too) well-thought-out stuff. Go read it.
As for me, I spent the afternoon lost in south Daegu. We were trying to find a school where we had a meeting and I got the directions wrong. On the plus side, we did find an international grocery store while lost. I got curry leaf and calamansi juice! But for now, I’m exhausted and overheated and feeling a bit like a zombie myself.
