Alright, let me tell you a story. Last Saturday we were coming back from Ulsan on the train. Halfway to Dongdaegu, Sean decides to poop. So we take him back to the train bathroom to change his diaper. It’s a small place- all three of us can’t really fit in at once, so I’m standing in the doorway holding Sean up on the changing board so that Eunsuk can take off his pants and clean up the mess.
As soon as he gets on the board, Sean starts singing: “ABCDEFG”… not just singing. He’s waving his arms around and thrusting his hips all over the place. We’ve got a full-on song and dance number here. I’m trying to keep hold, Eunsuk’s trying to get him wiped, while both of us are desperately trying to avoid his wildly gyrating poop covered arse.
I guess this kind of thing comes with the territory of being a parent. Finally we got him cleaned and rediapered. When everything was finished he took a bow and said “thank you”. Kid knows showmanship.
It’s been a long and busy week. If you’re expecting an email from me, I should be able to send it out this weekend. Right now I’m going to bed.
