Morrisey Was Right

Just as there’s a language to Twitter, so too are there different modes of Facebook chatter. Some users communicate solely through FarmVille requests. Others treat the site as a scrapbook, posting links to various things that catch their interest. At least one of my friends uses FaceBook to liveblog their daily routine, which being both “routine” and “daily” tends to have a lot of repetition. Oh don’t look at me like that; you know I love you anyways.

Some people use FaceBook as a promotion tool, and mostly post links to their latest projects… this seems to be particularly true of the cartoonists and indie game programmers. Being a cartoonist who programs indie games, I am doubly guilty of this one.

Then, there are the benevolent spirits- users who are never seen nor heard but who can be counted upon to click “like” a whole bunch of times.

Most people, I think, are more varied in their posting style but we all have our idiosyncrasies.
