The Difference Between Them
President Geson is not originally from the ring. He was exiled from Kosaka Spinner after being convicted of energy crimes (aka embezzlement). He spent brief periods of time in both the L5 Alliance and the Rishiri Dominion, just long enough to obtain a spaceship and to be declared persona non grata in both. Eventually he made his way to the dusty ring where he won a struggling mining colony in a shuggy game. Under his direction, Midas has become one of the wealthiest asteroids in L5.
