Few do. :)
On the other hand, it is missing the shoulder spikes, so maybe she's got at least a class 1 in there. I usually do.

It seems a Buru Buru SAN-X9cb Crossbones (or a customized variation, as they have the right weapon payload but it's missing the armoured shoulder spikes) so the cockpit is in the body.
So she's lucky but not much as that mecha don't have backup sensors...

If the cockpit's in the head, she's in a lot of trouble. I didn't see her eject. Space is a bad place to be a wanted criminal in need of medical care.
If the cockpit's in the main body, she's not much better off. A backup sensor in the body isn't standard equipment on many models, and I doubt that's an exception, so she's on visual only in an ill-suited, highly damaged mech.
What model is that?

I wonder if she's upgraded it. That paint job can't come standard, so at least she's modified the exterior.
There's only so much you can do to improve a mech, but even a poor targeting computer can go a long way.

Hilarious :D And "Give up now and you can at least say you came out better than when you fought Mischa!" -- wow, way to taunt for an amatuer.

I dind't expect Tama to do so well either. Do not underestimate the Haiho's considerable strength for its size though, especially combined with a huge rocket-assisted hammer. Mining bots are /designed/ for smashing things apart, and ostensibly Tama spent a lot of time in the past in her Haiho practicing melee as she can't afford 'better'. "I know my way around a hammer". Looking at the comic, I don't think Mischa ever gave her formal training, as she herself seems surprised at Tama's ability.

I recall the Wolfram mining bot from GH1. That thing is fairly slow and crappy in most forms of combat compared to other early-game mecha. Except for two things: it can take a lot of damage, and it can deal a fairly insane amount of damage with its huge pickaxe in melee (able to one-shot most other early mecha in the hands of a skilled pilot).

"I don't know when to quit!!!" Ha ha ha!
Can you say, "Knights Who Say 'Nee'!" :D
This is too rich! At this rate, she won't have any limbs left. :P

Seriously, though, I did not expect Tama to do so well. Tama is in a Haiho, which is a compact mining battroid. The hammer may be dangerous, but it seems like a handicap to me. She's just an apprentice to Mischa - a cavalier-in-training who (as far we know) has had very little actual experience. Did Mischa ever give her formal training, per se? Or does Tama do so well based on simulators and/or gladiator experience?
